Meeting The First iPhone Owners From Sydney, Singapore, And Dubai
Muhannad Al Nadaf finally is the first person to get an iPhone on launch day in Sydney. The 21-year-old has tried and failed, the last five years to be the first iPhone owner in Sydney.
“I’ve been standing up since literally 3 a.m.” Al Nadaf said. He narrated how he could not sit the whole time because he brought a blanket instead of a chair. Al Nadaf could not place his blanket on the floor because it was wet from when the council came to wash it.
He added, “There are a lot of clubs on this road, all the drunk people were coming out and they kept abusing me.”
The long wait was worth it when Al Nadaf has replaced the five-year first-in-line Mazen Kourouche. This year, Kourouche arrived at 6 a.m. but was still second-in-place.
In Singapore, 17-year-old Aidid is the first iPhone 11 owner. He came from Malaysia and went to Singapore with his sister on September 20.
Aidid bought both the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro. He also bought the new Apple Watch Series 5.

“I came here yesterday around five o’clock here,” Kazhunthammal said. He added that he was “very happy” to be the first iPhone11 owner in Dubai.
