The remaining days of Genshin Impact 2.5 are getting more exciting as the recurring Overflowing Mastery Event is officially on. During this limited-time event, players have the chance to double and earn more talent level-up materials (talent books) by successfully challenging the Talent Level-Up Material Domains. This year’s Overflowing Mastery will run from March 21 to March 28, 2022.

Genshin Impact Overflowing Mastery Event Details
In an earlier press release, HoYoverse (formerly moHoYo) said that players have to activate corresponding Talent Level-Up Material Domains first to join this rare adventure. This year, Inazuma’s Violet Court will be joining the Forsaken Rift of Mondstadt and the Taishan Mansion in Liyue as the Material Domain to explore.
To get the talent book they need, players have to enter the domain containing the talent ascension material and complete the challenge. Throughout the event, players will have three chances to challenge the Material Domains. This also means players can get 48 runs worth of talent level-up materials in the entirety of the event.
Although the Overflowing Mastery Event is a special time for Genshin Impact, the usual mechanics for farming talent books will still apply like the talent books schedule. For example, the Violet Court in Inazuma will only drop the Transience Books on Mondays and Thursdays.
Players also have to consume 20 Original Resin every time they enter each Material Domain.
Using Talent Books to Level Up Genshin Impact Characters
Talent Books are an important aspect of Genshin Impact. Alongside the Common Ascension Materials, you can use them to level up your characters’ talents. However, you must reach past the Ascension Level Two or the Adventure rank 25 to do this. Leveling your character’s talents will increase the damage and effectiveness of Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst.
Each Genshin Impact character has a unique set of materials, thus Talent Books. While some characters require the same materials, it’s still hard to familiarize all of them since they don’t follow a specific character element. More Events For Genshin Impact Version 2.5
Overflowing Mastery is just one of the many events lined up for Genshin Impact 2.5. Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi are back for a rerun banner until March 29. During the event wish period, these 5-star characters along with Bennett, Xinyan, and Kujou Sara will have a huge drop rate boost. Two 5-star weapons, namely the Engulfing Lightning and Everlasting Moonglow, will also have a huge drop rate until March 29.
Players who have already reached adventure rank 30 and completed the Archon Quest can also enter a free-for-all fighting tournament. In this event, Primogems and character materials are up for grab.
Overflowing Mastery is the last event for Genshin Impact Version 2.5 before the next update arrives on March 30.
