Monument Valley 2 and More Enter Apple Arcade This March

Apple reveals the lineup of games that will come to Apple Arcade in March, including all the content updates for the month. Classic mobile titles Monument Valley 2, Shadow Blade, and Alto’s Adventure remake will enter the platform for the first time as part of the App Store Greats. Here are the release schedules:

Shadow Blade+

ETA: March 4, 2022

Shadow Blade+ will be the first to arrive on Apple Arcade this month — Apple announced that it will be ready on March 4. Described as a fast-paced action platformer, the game involves several stages where you need to slay enemies. There are also traps and obstacles that you need to overcome along the way.

Shadow Blade+ has 40 levels to explore with striking 3D visuals and smooth character animations. However, it doesn’t have controller support but has intuitive touch controls for hovering around levels.

 

Monument Valley 2+

ETA: March 11, 2022

The follow-up for the Apple Game of the Year in 2014 is expected to arrive on Apple Arcade on March 11. In Monument Valley 2, you have to guide a mother and child duo in their journey to discovering magical architecture and finding hidden paths by solving stimulating puzzles. The game will also include a new chapter, “The Lost Forest,” that was developed at Playing for the Planet’s Green Game Jam 2021.

Ultimately, every mystery unlocked in this puzzle-solving game will lead you to the secrets of Sacred Geometry.

 

Alto’s Adventure: The Spirit of the Mountain+

The remastered version of critically acclaimed Alto’s Adventure is the last to arrive in March and will be exclusive on Apple Arcade. The snowboarding game still has the elements you have loved from the original, but it will also feature new content. For one, a new character Pitu will be joining Alto in his snowboarding odyssey. There will also be new character attributes and abilities to use as well as 25 challenging goals to achieve.

Aside from iPhone and iPad, Alto’s Adventure: The Spirit of the Mountain is also playable on Apple TV and Mac.
