Pokémon Go Welcomes 2022 with Exciting New Year Event

Mobile Games

Pokémon Go is ringing in 2022 with an exciting event, teeming with costumed Pokémon, themed avatar items, and several bonuses among others. The Pokemon new year event will start on Friday, December 31 at 10 p.m., and will end on January 4 at 8 p.m. local time.

New Year’s Hat Hoothoot and 2022 Glasses Slowking will be making their debut in Pokémon Go as the year turns. If you are lucky, you may even encounter a Shiny Hoothoot in raids. Slowpoke and Slowbro, on the other hand, seem to didn’t get the memo and will appear on 2020 and 2021 glasses respectively. Some additional 11 Costumed Pokémon will also appear in their new year party hat during the event.

New year-themed avatar items like glasses, headbands, jackets, pants, and shoes will also be available in the in-game shop during and after this event.
