Pokemon Go January Field Research Tasks and Rewards

The January Field Research for Pokemon GO, tasks, and other rewards are out now! However, fans are up for a slight letdown as January 2022’s cycle of daily Research Breakthrough will not result in Steelix Mega Energy rewards. In its place, Timed Research will become available from Saturday, January 1, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. to Monday, January 31, 2022, at 11:59 p.m according to Pokemon GO.

In a press release, Pokemon GO discloses Timed Research will see players getting a total of 200 Steelix Mega Energy. It also adds the changes in the January cycle are due to unforeseen issues. Moreover, the January 2022 cycle of daily Field Tasks will see a combination of old Field Tasks and new challenges to keep players motivated.

January 2022 Cycle Updates

The January Field Research for Pokemon GO, tasks, and other rewards are running for the whole month of January up to February 1. That means month-long opportunities for players to earn their daily stamps and the associated rewards by getting them from Pokestops. Additionally, Pokemon GO promises decent rewards to players to keep them motivated this new year.

Furthermore, Pokemon GO also announces the availability of a Remote Raid Pass, as well as other items that are going to be available in the shop for 1 PokéCoin. Meanwhile, players are up for some exciting new challenges this January.

Pokemon GO teases players with a list of challenges and tasks they can complete to earn them their stamps and rewards this January. Below are is a complete list of tasks players must complete as part of the January 2022 cycle:

  • Catch 10 Normal-type Pokémon – 10 Pidgeot Mega Energy
  • Capture 10 Grass-type Pokémon – 1o Venusuar Mega Energy
  • Capture 10 Fire-type Pokémon – 10 Charizard Mega Energy
  • Catch 5 Pokémon Ryhorn
  • Catch 5 Pokémon with Weather Boost – Poliwag, Vulpix, Hippopotas, Snover
  • Capture 7 Pokémon – Magikarp
  • Catch a Dragon-type Pokémon – Bagon, Dratini
  • Use 5 Berries to help catch Pokémon – Wurmple
  • Catch 5 Different Species of Pokémon – Burmy

 

Throw Tasks

  • Make 3 Curveball Throws in a row – Pineco
  • Make 3 Excellent Throws in a row – Gible
