For non-iOS users, the Moto G8 or Moto G8 Plus will make you be a part of the latest three-camera trend. It’s still unclear which Motorola mobile phone model will feature the three cameras. But based on the recent reports, it could be the higher-end among the upcoming Moto G Series.

A prototype named XT2019-1 or XT2019-2 is currently in the midst of work. The XDA Developers said that the Moto G8 or G8 Plus is powered by Qualcomm’s 11nm Snapdragon chipset, which is more powerful than the chipset in the Moto G7.

 

Moto G8 Triple Cameras Features

Reports suggest that the smartphone will have a setup of triple cameras at the back. It will feature a 48MP primary sensor with 4-in-1 pixel binning, the secondary camera features 16MP wide-angle camera, while the third camera will have a 5MP depth sensor.

The phone is said to feature a 25MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

There are rumors said that the smartphone will come in two colors: blue and red. On the other hand, there could also be other variations. However, the displays size and resolution of the Moto G8 will be similar to the Moto G7. It is expected to feature a 6.3” display with Full HD+ resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio.

In terms of storage space, the mobile phone will be available in various storage sizes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage.

 

Moto’s G8 Software

The smartphone will run on Android 9 Pie. Thus, it’s not part of the Android One program. With that, this mobile phone is expected to have Motorola’s UI customization on top along with apps such as Moto Actions and Moto Display.

There’s no definite yet regarding the launch of the smartphone. But according to many reports and reliable sources, the phone will likely to launch at the same time as the Moto G8 Play in the coming months.

The phone is also expected to be released first in Latin America as it is where their strongest market is.
