Lego Star Wars: Castaways Goes Live as Apple Arcade Exclusive

Mobile Games

After months and months of waiting, the Lego and Star Wars fusion are finally out as Lego Star Wars: Castaways debuts on Apple Arcade, exclusively. This means that players have to pay at least $4.99 per month to play the game, alongside some 200 games within Apple’s game subscription service.

In a statement, Lego Star Wars: Castaways developer, Gameloft, expressed their excitement for the realization of the project.

“We’re thrilled to bring players to the island of LEGO Star Wars: Castaways, exclusively on Apple Arcade,” said Lee Kaburis, Game Manager of Gameloft Montreal. In his word, Kaburis added that they wanted to “create an experience in which fans can see themselves included in the beloved Star Wars stories” together with their friends and families.

The game employs a mix of social action-adventure that puts players on a mysterious new planet with other “Castaways”. It revolves around customization and exploration, allowing players to create their own Lego mini-figure. Players can also solve mystery puzzles and join PvP arenas along the way.

As expected from the title, players would also be able to relive moments from the Star Wars series in a Lego fashion. Players can enter solo games. They can also build a team to explore Star Wars locations made of LEGO bricks from the ground up.

Lego Star Wars: Castaways is playable across Apple Arcade-supported devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. It is technically free as long as you have an Apple Arcade subscription. You can get unlimited access to Apple Arcade games for $4.99/ month. You can also get it bundled with other Apple services via Apple One. Both subscription tiers have a free one-month trial promo and are completely free from ad interruptions.
